I want parents to be stress free during their session. They will most likely arrive a little overwhelmed, happy and tired… Okay, very very tired. I want them to know that no matter how their baby decides to feel that day during their session, they will leave knowing I will provide images that will last a lifetime and that they will cherish them forever. I want them to know that I will handle their baby with the utmost care.

Generally, I recommend scheduling newborn sessions around 20-25 weeks so I can ensure I have time available in my schedule! This is going to be a very overwhelming and happy time and I want *everything* to be ready prior to the baby arriving.
Once you receive your proposal, you will be prompted to sign your contract, and then pay a 20% deposit in order to secure your date (I always put the due date on my calendar as a placeholder).
When should I book?
Generally, I put you on my calendar according to your due date because baby’s really make the rules and come when they would like! I don’t want parents to worry about this because I can still do a session even if the baby comes early or late.
I have taken photos of HUNDREDS of babies and I really prefer to shoot sometime within the first 7-14 days of life. So, once the baby arrives, you let me know as soon as he/she is born and we will schedule your session within that time frame. I do have another full time job on the weekdays, so your newborn session is generally set up for the weekend within that 7-12 days.
When do we have our session?
I have a beautiful studio located in downtown Erie and have many, many props for you to choose from! I do purchase things specifically for your session according to your questionnaire (if I don’t have it already), so if you have certain things you love, please let me know!!
Where do I go for the session?
Shortly after booking, you will receive my newborn session guide with a LOT of information! Please make sure you look through this prior to your session. You can expect to get a questionnaire from me very close to your due date (within the week) to get more information regarding color choices, poses and styling for your session so I am best prepared.
What happens between booking and session date?
If you are interested in a maternity session, please make sure you let me know so I can also send information regarding these sessions and booking. We can book this session when you are approximately 32-33 weeks gestation!
Do you do maternity sessions?
I also highly recommend booking milestone sessions either immediately after newborn sessions or at the time of booking to make sure you are on my calendar as well.
