I just love playing and seeing how families enjoy one another. I love showing up and making it seem like a game rather than this stiff, formal type of session. I think kids really enjoy playing games and just embracing that chaos. I think my favorite moment is when I hear a parent say “well, I hope you got something” and I get to deliver a full, beautiful gallery and they respond with “HOW did you do that”. It’s like I’m a magician!

please, PLEASE remember to have FUN with your family, and do not have high expectations. You are going to laugh, enjoy snuggles, and NOT…I repeat NOT just stand and smile the entire time. I want to capture the joy and personalities of your family. Kids thrive in chaos sometimes, and this is what we will embrace. Please trust the fact that at the end of the session, even if it seemed crazy, I got some amazing photos you will cherish.

What if we get bad weather?
In general, I highly recommend booking family photos at least a few months in advance so that we can plan outfits, vibes and location.
I ALWAYS shoot during golden hour (1 hour prior to sunset) - this is going to be the BEST timing for photos. I understand sometimes this can be difficult for little ones, but because you are investing your time and money into these sessions I HIGHLY recommend trying to plan accordingly for this!! This is KEY to beautiful photos - beautiful light! :)
With that being said, also always remember to take LOCATION into consideration. You will most likely want to hang these photos on the walls, and so we want to make sure the location is going to mesh well with your family and what you enjoy doing. We can brainstorm on this and I can always give suggestions.
I do offer a styling service in which all my clients have access to. This can take some time, especially if outfits need to be ordered, which is why I suggest booking a few months in advance. I also provide a client closet to mommas only right now in which you are welcome to use!
In the event of inclement weather in which we can NOT work with (storms, etc), please know we will have to reschedule within ONE WEEK of the session. This is due to my schedule and availability.
